As a young woman, Judith Dubois (1966) left for Tuscany in order to specialize in drawing life models and restoring age-old frescoes. Landscapes have always fascinated her a great deal. All those predilections beautifully come together in her celebrated sand paintings. Ever since, earth in all its manifestations has been a leitmotiv in her work. She has exhibited in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and the Netherlands and works lovingly on her own ideas and on commission in her atelier in the heart of Amsterdam.
